On July 3, Zheng Ziqiang, deputy director of Hangzhou Customs visited Huayou Headquarters for investigation, accompanied by director Wang Jun and deputy director Shen Weizhong of Jiaxing Customs. Group’s president Chen Hongliang received them warmly on behalf of Huayou.

“Although the development history of Huayou is not long, yet Huayou has been able to seize the industry opportunities, forged ahead with determination, and achieved impressive achievements and development.” After hearing the report from president Chen Hongliang on enterprise development, deputy director Zheng Ziqiang expressed a full affirmation of the achievements obtained by Huayou, and he said, the purpose of this visit was mainly to know the enterprise’s demands and difficulties through field investigation and see what kind of support it could provide as the customs in the new era (customs, and commodity inspection combination) on the basis of serving the enterprises and solving problems for them. According to him, the Customs would exclude the difficulty and anxiety for the enterprises, give positive support to them for the problems within the policy coverage and study the problems beyond the policy coverage seriously and actively, so as to support and serve the enterprise development better within their powers. 

President Chen Hongliang firstly expressed sincere thanks to Hangzhou Customs and Jiaxing Customs for their care and help to Huayou, and made a report to deputy director Zheng Ziqiang from the basic information, overseas investment, development planning, and resource development of Huayou. President Chen said that, “on the journey of a new undertaking, Huayou Cobalt would insist on taking the development of new energy lithium battery material industry as core and comprehensive implementing the “Two New Areas and Three Trend” around “Controlling the Resources Upstream, Developing the Markets Downstream, Enhancing the Capability in the Middle”, to transform it from a leader in cobalt industry during the period of the “12th five-year planning” to a world’s leader in new energy lithium battery materials”.
