On September 20, Liu Genhong, Director of Management Committee of Quzhou Green Industry Clustering Zone (QGICZ) and Secretary of Party Working Committee visited the Group Headquarters for research and guidance, and the Group Chairman Chen Xuehua warmly received him.
 
 
“Since 2012, Huayou Cobalt has started to invest the new energy li-ion battery materials industrial park in Quzhou. After construction and development in recent years, the industrial park has become the largest, the most technologically advanced and the most competitive cobalt industry manufacturing base in the world. The construction and development of Huayou Quzhou industrial park has optimized the industrial structure of Quzhou and promoted the development of local economy, which is of great significance to the development of Quzhou Green Industry Clustering Zone in recent years.” Secretary Liu Genhong has said that Huayou is a leading company in the cobalt industry and new energy li-ion battery field, and the clustering zone will fully support the development of Huayou so as to well build and develop the Huayou li-ion battery integrated industrial park. At the same time, he has also hoped that Huayou can further give play to its resource advantages and core competitiveness in the industrial chain, strengthen the management weakness and consolidate the development foundation for a higher quality and higher level of development.
 
 
Chairman Chen Xuehua extended a warm welcome to secretary Liu Genhong and his party for their visit to the Headquarters of Huayou, and expressed her heartfelt thanks to Secretary Liu Genhong for his care and support for the development of Quzhou industrial park. Chairman Chen has said that to realize the transformation of resources and technology advantages to industry and development advantages, they invested the construction of Huayou in Quzhou in June 2012. Strongly supported by Quzhou municipal Party Committee and municipal government and the leaders of Quzhou Green Industry Clustering Zone, the industrial park has been integrated into the industrial planning of local government and achieved a complete success, forming an industrial chain integrating the production of new energy power battery materials and full life circle of retired battery with a strong development momentum.
