On August 2, Mr. Meng Taigu, CEO of Lithium Division of Eramet Group in France and his delegation visited the Headquarters of the Group in Tongxiang City in China, and the Group Chairman Mr. Chen Xuehua warmly received them.
 
 
During the discussion, the Group Chairman Mr. Chen Xuehua extended a warm welcome to Mr. Meng Taigu and his delegation, and introduced the basic situation, overseas investment and future development plan of Huayou. The company will unswervingly implement the strategic thought of controlling the resources upstream, developing the markets downstream, enhancing the capability in the middle, rely on the positioning of basing on the cobalt new materials and taking the li-ion battery materials as core, follow the strategic path of product high-end oriented, industry integration and management internationalization, seize development opportunity to improve the ability to control the development, and commit to becoming a global leader in new energy li-ion battery materials.
 
 
“Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and Huayou always insists on green manufacturing and builds a green developed li-ion battery industry ecology.” Mr. Chen mainly introduced the strategic layout and achievements of Huayou in recycling to Mr. Meng Taigu and his delegation. Combining with the current development trend of new energy vehicles, Mr. Chen pointed out that reshuffle of the power battery industry intensified, and high-nickel orientation may become the mainstream of power batteries manufacturing in the future. There are many nickel and lithium resources in the world, and how to obtain nickel and lithium resources at low cost is the key to industrial layout. The cooperation between both sides in the field of nickel is of great significance and they also look forward to the future cooperation in the field of lithium products.
 
 
Mr. Meng Taigu said that Huayou plays an important role in cobalt industry in the world and occupies an extremely important position in li-ion battery materials. Eramet Group expects to develop together with Huayou, and has in-depth business cooperation in the field of new energy power battery materials. At the same time, Mr. Meng Taigu hopes that both sides can enhance interaction and mutual trust, and jointly build a new model of shared development in li-ion battery industry. Huang Lici, CFO of Lithium Division of Eramet Group , has introduced the business profile, development plan of the Group and related contents of lithium project of Eramet Group.
 
 
Before the discussion, Mr. Meng Taigu and his delegation, accompanied by Wang Wuming, Director of Resource Development Department of Huayou, visited Huayou exhibition hall and understood the development process, industrial layout, technological process and medium and long-term development plan of Huayou.
