On November 9, Hybrid and electric vehicle technology cooperation project - Electric vehicles key raw materials working group of International Energy Agency (IEA HEV VRM4EV) visited Huayou Industry Park. Bao Wei, the President Assistant and General Manager of Huayou Cycle Power warmly welcomed them on behalf of the company. 
 
 
After listening to Bao Wei’s introduction of Huayou’s planning and practice on the outdated power battery, the expert group spoke highly of Huayou’s achievements of industrial integration with coordinated development and industrial ecosystem in new energy lithium battery material, and expressed their appreciation to Huayou for its high attention on environmental protection and practice of green development.
Simultaneously, both sides deeply discussed some other issues, including the development trend of new energy auto industry, life cycle of new energy auto power battery, and the impact of large-scale usage of electric auto on the key battery materials.After the meeting, the expert group visited in workshops of Huayou Quzhou Industry Park, they focused on the automatic dismantling workshop of outdated power battery, regenerated materials hydrometallurgical production line and so on, and discussed on the scene about the safety management of outdated power battery, dismantling and sorting, harmless disposal, secondary utilization and tracing management system of the outdated power battery. The experts said, as the first stop of Chinese enterprise visits, they were refreshed and benefiting a lot through the brainstorm between both parties, and the field visit in Huayou Quzhou Industry Park. At the same time, the experts hoped both sides could enhance the communication on key technology of resources recycling and regeneration, and strengthen the cooperation with each other. They hope Huayou can continuously give full play to its advantages, create the tier 1 recycling ecosystem in the world and set up an industry benchmark!
 
 
It is said that the experts are from world-renowned organizations and enterprises, such as German Aerospace Center, Swedish Environmental Science Research Institute, Joanneum Institute of Austria, International Trader Federation, Australian Independent Mining and so on.
